DeltaX™ is built on principles of stewardship grounded in Christian faith. For most people, wealth is not the point. Family is. What they build, they build for the people they love, and for the legacy they hope to leave them. We understand that, because we feel it too.
Managing someone's capital is a genuine responsibility, and we treat it with the diligence and care that responsibility calls for, in uncertain times especially. In practice, that means telling a prospective client the truth even when the truth is that DeltaX is not the right fit for them.
It also shapes how we describe our work. We explain how we think and how we invest, openly. We will not represent what we are certain to achieve, because no one responsibly can.
WHY DELTAX EXISTS.
Matthew founded DeltaX on a simple belief: that too much of investing is half measures. Capital spread thin across a dozen half-wanted things until none of them can hurt you and none of them can move you.
Some people want more than that. They want real conviction, a disciplined approach, and an adviser willing to do the work and take deliberate risk in pursuit of something that actually matters. DeltaX was built around exactly that idea, and the DeltaX Conviction™ strategy is its flagship expression.
The DeltaX Clarity™ strategy grew out of something more personal. Matthew watched people he cares about get placed into products they did not understand, carrying fees they could not see, with their money locked away when they needed it most. He built Clarity so that would not have to be anyone's experience again: everyone deserves to know what they own, what it costs, and whether it is working for them.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER.
Matthew Schaller holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Clemson University, with a concentration in actuarial and financial mathematics. Before founding DeltaX, he spent years helping businesses grow, optimize, and put their customers first. The through line is the same: research first, numbers first, honest about risk. That is the foundation the firm is built on, and how it will grow, seeking mathematicians, physicists, statisticians, and engineers who apply rigorous methods to data and bring a scientific approach to investing.
What drives him is the same in every setting: a passion for solving hard problems, doing the research, and understanding the why behind everything. Matthew also proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
A longtime South Carolinian, Matthew lived in the Greenville area before making the Charleston area home. He now lives just outside it in Nexton with his wife and son.
